Insomnia is the world’s most common sleep disorder. Globally as many as 1 in 3 individuals are sufferers (1).

Insomnia is characterised by difficulties surrounding initiating sleep, maintaining sleep or early morning awakenings. This is followed by daytime consequences such as lack of energy, concentration, fatigue and decreased productivity. Untreated insomnia can also increase the risk for many physical and mental disorders as well as increasing the risk of accidents and substance disorders.
